“Iranian forces waiting at Iraqi border to invade as soon as U.S. forces withdraw” .

Mr. Shakir Kitab, the spokesman for al-Iraqia Coalition and the spokesman for Tariq al-Hashimi, Iraq’s Vice-President warned against Iranian regime’s interventions and said: We must think about the vacuum after withdrawal of the U.S. forces. At the time being, the Iranian forces are waiting at the border to invade as soon as the Americans leave, Al-Iraqia Television reported on July 9. According to the Iraq-For-All website, Dr. Zafir al-Ani, a leader of al-Iraqia Coalition, said: “The Iranian regime wants to complete its plans for Iraq’s occupation and has advanced this through political, security, and military methods and will continue to do so.”
He added: “Presence of many officials of the Quds Force in the [Iranian regime’s] visiting delegation stresses the fact that this visit was to ‘complete the chain of Iraqi occupation’.”
Al-Ani also said: “Now, the Iranain regime wants to pressure Iraq through economic channels and by Quds Force through the cover of commercial, financial, travel, and other types of companies.” Concurrently, it tries to isolate Iraq in the Arab world. “Iranian regime also tries to attract Iraq’s wealth by using these companies in order to keep the Iraqi people and government weak and not be able to play their national and ethnic roles.”
According to Iraq-For-All website, al-Ani described the goal of this policy as “making Iraq’s economy totally dependent on the Iranian regime and holding Iraq’s future subservient to the political decisions of the Iranian regime.”
